It’s been a super busy week and we’re not done yet (another big surprise video shoot tomorrow! Shhh! See more on Snapchat @houselarsbuilt). BUT, last night after a large shoot I came home and DID NOTHING but take a bath and watch one of my all time favorite movies as a kid, A League of Their Own (on Netflix right now).

As a ten year old kid I was beyond inspired by the story. In fact, it made me want to be the first woman in Major League Baseball, which I realize, isn’t the point of the story…who knows where that came from, but it was inspiring nonetheless. Doesn’t it seem like the inspiring movies of the 80s and 90s are super far and in between? Where are they? Do I sound ancient right now?  I was surprised to find that my interns haven’t seen the movie. Of course, they are a decade younger, but man, they are missing out! If you haven’t seen it, watch it!

In other news, here are the best links of the week!

These giant Easter Eggs are beyond (and a pinata too!)

I just love Iris so much

Love these gorgeous centerpieces

These toilet paper tube letters are so so fun!

Here’s a sneak peek of a project we shot yesterday

Have you read the Lars Book Club book yet? We’ll be discussing it next week!

I was honored to be interviewed on this project. It’s more of a religious website if you’re interested in my beliefs. Thanks for having me!

Photo is a sneak peek of our shoot from yesterday. Ashley Coppins made the adorable cake. Isn’t it so cute?!
