Rainbow Paper Flower Tablescape

Rainbow Paper Flower Tablescape

April Showers bring May flowers… so I guess you can say we’re jumping the gun a little bit over here! This Rainbow Paper Flower Tablescape is the perfect way to welcome in Spring! It also involves two of our favorite things: rainbows and flowers. We created layered 2-D paper flowers in different shades of pink, orange, yellow, blue, and purple to create a rainbow of flowers down the center of the table. Paper, wire, and floral foam and then only materials you need to make this stunner. It would be perfect for a Mother’s Day brunch, a spring bridal or baby shower, or a rainbow themed birthday party!Rainbow Paper Flower Tablescape

Paper plant tablescape

Paper plant tablescape

Tropical plants have been quite the rage in party and home decor. I’ve seen them sprinkled in balloon arches and as patterns on cushions for sofas. Then when these gorgeous tropical foliage melamine plates came out from Terrain I knew I had to try out the trend. They were too beautiful to pass up. Plus, I’ve been wanting to do a monthly tabletop series; a tabletop of the month if you will because I love all things tabletop so I thought this Paper Plant Tablescape would be a great place to start. And the great news is that we are offering all the shapes as free patterns to download!

Rose Parade Tablescape

DIY Rose Parade tablescape

Are you familiar with the Rose Parade? Every year my family would watch the Rose Parade in all its glory. Never mind the Rose Bowl which happens on the same day. Who needs football when you’ve got a magical festival of flowers? The floats have to be completely covered with flowers or natural materials like leaves, seeds, or bark. In addition to floats, there are marching bands, equestrian units, and a royal court. Guys, this is an American pastime! Naturally, we had to create a Rose Parade tablescape since we did one for the Macy’s Day Parade!

Rose Parade Tablescape

Gather your girlfriends together to make mini floats covered with brightly colored flowers! The floats line the center of an otherwise all-white tablescape in honor of the “White Suitors” aka: all the men and women who volunteer and make the parade possible wear crisp white uniforms. This is a classy occasion, folks! It’d be great as a New Year’s Eve dinner or a brunch on the day of.

FTD was kind enough to provide all the beautiful flowers (like this bouquet!)  to transform our floats with! So start prepping for the new year, because a Rose Parade Tablescape is the best way!

Swans a Swimming Tablescape

Swans a swimming tablescape

The Christmas fanatic inside of you has been dying to create this Swans a Swimming Tablescape! Is there a more iconic Christmas song than The Twelve Days of Christmas? It also happens to be the one that gets stuck in my head more than any other song, but what can you do? We wanted to create a tablescape appropriate for the holidays but on the more untraditional side of things, AKA no red, white, or green. So using The Twelve Days of Christmas song as our inspiration, we give you the Swans a Swimming Tablescape! A paper swan nestled on a bed of greenery and paper flowers along with more swans a’ swimming in the form of printable name tags and a DIY swan!
