This Girl

She lives the American way with J.Crew catalogues and biographies on F. Scott Fitzgerald.

She believes in the color Navy. From late dusk to morning dew, she reminisces about past summer camps.

And sometimes, when she stares at the night sky too long, she can see the whole world’s potential.

A believer in oil paintings and new beginnings: Abigail”

This Girl

They planned on Elizabeth, but her father mouthed “Libby” immediately when his wet eyes met hers.

In grade school, she kept her coloring pencils in a special tin. Every pencil was sharpened the night before, just in case her teacher gave her an assignment with a white border.

She grew gently, and her quiet confidence grew with her. Anne of Green Gables became her bible and escape. Anne was her truest confidant.

She was never a late bloomer, I mean some people search their whole life to find purpose, but Libby knew hers all along.

She still dreams of Anthropologie window displays before waking to English muffins enjoyed by the breakfast nook.

She’s the elegant and uncomplicated, Libby.

These Girls

These girlsPatricia Morozo house from Yellow TraceKILIM-RUGSAdelaide, Pearl, Eloise, and Lottie shape their free time around drinking spritzers and secretly watching MTV music videos. At low-key gatherings, you’ll find them standing away from everyone else; they’re known to talk behind your back, but you almost want them to. Like your Grandmother’s fruit cake, these girls are a quiet mystery. For a moment, you might feel intimidated. While holding themselves with a highbrow elegance, they might even accept you as an acquaintance.

Currently, these girls are relaxing at home wearing high socks to cover their non-painted toes. They’re discussing the critical make-up of American history in terms of James Dean’s demeanor and JFK’s class.

This peculiar group of girls will never tell you how they came together. Their enigmatic nature is timeless, just like their innate sense of style.
