This week

Beatles Love at Mirage Vegas

Did you make it this week? With all the heat going on in Utah and not so steady AC in the car, we barely came out alive, but here we are to tell the tale of our weekend in Vegas.

I was hoping that some things had changed since I was last there. But you still have to keep your eyes looking straight ahead and not down at the ground. Gah! By far, the highlight of the trip was Beatles Love, which was just about the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen done by humans. The sets, the choreography, the costumes, and, of course, THE MUSIC. It’s like Beatles music was meant to be performed by the circus. If you haven’t been YOU MUST go in this lifetime. Promise me. My new goal is to interview the people who created it and pick their brains for a bit.

Cirque du Soleil, if you’re listening, can we talk? I need to find out where you came from.

In other news, here are some fun links for your weekend!

I always have a hard time knowing what to buy my dad for Father’s Day. Thankfully, he keeps a wishlist here. Hallelujah!

This looks so so delicious

My dad is tough to shop for. Thankfully, all I have to do is peek at his Amazon wish list. Score!

I LOVE Judit Just’s work and loved her studio tour even more!

Birds of a feather. Jordan loves scissors just as much as I do 🙂

I just got this wallet in mint from the Kate Spade outlet in Vegas. It’s my replacement from when someone peed on my last wallet. Long story for another day.

If these are half as good as they are adorable, you’re in for a treat!

I just got these sandals for the summer and now they’re on sale (always happens, no?!)

Have a great weekend!
