Introducing: Royal Wedding Collection

Royal wedding commemorative souvenirs

Check out our new Online Shop!

In 2011 I boarded a plane from Copenhagen, Denmark to London to attend the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. I grew up with a very sure knowledge that I was going to marry Prince William one day but after realizing that the dream might have been a little skewed, I figured if you don’t marry royalty, at least you can attend their wedding! In preparation for the big day, I designed a line of commemorative goods to sell at a rented booth on Portobello Road and on my online shop. It was an amazing experience and one of my very first business endeavors at Lars!Royal wedding commemorative stationery set

I received such a wonderful response to that first line of royal wedding products (here!)  that I knew I had to do another in honor of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Without further ado, I introduce The Royal Wedding Collection! These royal weddings are the fairytales of our time and I wanted to help everyone remember this special occasion. This collection also kicks off the opening of our new online shop! I invite you to go explore and check back often. We have some magical things in store for you and I don’t want you to miss any of it!

I was on KSL’s Studio 5 with Brooke Walker earlier this week where I gave an exclusive sneak peek of the collection along with a demonstration on how to create paper fascinators from this tutorial.

Let’s take a look at the Royal Wedding Collection!

Commemorative Mugs for the Royal Wedding

This collection consists of limited edition heirloom mugs featuring handpainted portraits of both Prince Harry and Meghan as well as Prince William and Kate surrounded by springtime florals. You can buy them individually or as a set. They are perfect to enjoy a cup of tea in. Don’t forget the scones and clotted cream!Royal wedding commemorative souvenirsRoyal wedding commemorative souvenirs

Stationery Sets for the Royal Wedding

There are also two stationery sets available to purchase. The first set features a lovely array of crazy fascinators, the quintessential British accessory, mandatory for celebratory occasions such as weddings! The second set is a variety pack featuring the portraits of Harry and Meghan, William and Kate, the map of the wedding procession of Harry and Meghan, and the fascinators. The cards are blank inside, making them useful for whatever your letter writing needs may be! We like to call it social stationery.Royal wedding commemorative souvenirs

Art Prints for the Royal Wedding

Lastly, we created an art print depicting the royal wedding procession of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The British Monarchy has included grand processions in important festivities since the 15th century. Following their service in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, Harry and Meghan will embark on a carriage procession along Sheet Street, Kings Road, Albert Road, and the beautiful tree-lined Long Walk. They will then return to Windsor Castle for their reception. The procession provides an opportunity for those gathered in attendance to experience the day with the happy couple!Royal wedding commemorative processional map art print

So even if you can’t jump across the pond for the big day, you can still celebrate and remember this royal occasion! We hope you like the collection as much as we do! We invite you to share any pictures you take with our tag #LarsGoesRoyal Cheers!
