Your living room is now as beautifully colorful and vibrant as you are. It’s modern perfection, ma’am. It’s also a real joy to behold, so thank you for sharing. Cheers, Ardith

P.S. That Target pillow has been in my cart for a while. Seeing it in your space is pushing me toward pressing that buy button.

Your space is sublime- cozy and fresh at the same time. I might also be in love with your tiered lamp in the corner. Great job!

Reading your blog regarding redoing living room:

I was a bit skeptical, for it was a lot of color with busy wallpaper design. (Now, I am not against wallpaper, in fact, I am a big fan of wallpaper…I adore the stuff and have used it in most of my homes since a young married woman). I love color, yet I decided to remove all wallpaper and painted rooms various colors for a more calming affect about 2 years ago. But in last 6 months I got bored, so I am back to soft looks (using more neutrals) and wanting a touch of wallpaper here and there. I am here to tell you when viewing your choices my concerns and hesitation regarding your choices were for nothing. I actually love it. With the fireplace mantel and your extra touches make the wallpaper a much calmer combination. The plantation blinds are GOREGOUS; great decision on adding those. Great job…I love it.

P.S. I am calling Blinds.com and getting some for my home..I think they are a huge hit.

Plantation shutters? What a name to have to call them by. I think they look beautiful, but wish they weren’t called that.
