Birthday Cake Paper Tablecloth

Birthday Cake Paper Tablecloth Do you dare throw a birthday party without a cake? It’s a quintessential element of the celebration! I just read that the custom of birthday cakes stretches back into the days of the ancient romans. Even then, people knew the importance of flour, butter, and sugar! Though today, I’m positive that ours are much cuter and most likely taste a million times better. That being said, we really wanted to drive home the birthday cake theme and decided to create a birthday cake paper tablecloth based on an idea from Kathleen Ballos. So, now you really can have your cake and eat it too! DIY felt and pom pom holly Christmas wreath

by contributor Kathleen Ballos of Snowdrop and Co

Browsing vintage items on Etsy is a never-ending source of inspiration for me. You really never know what you’re going to find! For today’s holiday project, I was inspired by this vintage brooch. I stumbled upon a few months ago. I love how festive it is – it actually reminded me of Brittany’s oversized berry and holly garland from a few years ago! The brooch already looks like a mini wreath, so I simply made red pom poms to be the berries and cut green felt into leaves and voila! A DIY felt holly wreath! I’m already thinking of making another one in muted colors, with some glitter applied onto the edges of the leaves. For now though, I’m excited to hang this wreath on my door to celebrate this Christmas season!

DIY Charm bracelet garland

by Kathleen Ballos

I love the idea of making this to decorate for a DIY necklace or bracelet making party, or even as permanent décor in a girl’s bedroom. Shop around your craft or dollar store for fun shapes to turn into the jumbo charms–coming up with cute ideas is half the fun! Keep reading for the full instructions. Read on →
