Guide to Provo, Utah

Guide to Provo Utah

This post has been a long time in the making, folks. I’ve been wanting to do a feature on Provo, Utah, where I’ve now lived for three years, but as you know, it takes awhile to feel situated and like you’ve been able to experience a lot in your town. I’m a terrible social planner. But I know you’ve been on the edge of your seat waiting for it to come out, so so sit back, it’s time to explore everyone’s top bucket list location, Provo, Utah. AND, good news, while you’re traveling to get here, you can color it in with this handy dandy coloring page, free to download. Read on →

Top 15 coloring books for adults

With the announcement of the Lars Coloring Book last week, our focus has fixated on the beautiful coloring books for adults we’ve been spotting around on the interwebs. Here’s a round up of some of our favorites on the market right now. Numbers do not indicate our favorite order.

  1. Of course, our Flowers Coloring Book, but we’re totally partial.
  2. Millie Marotta’s Animal Kingdom (and it’s fun for kids too! Like a treasure hunt) and also her Tropical World.
  3. Advanced Style coloring book. Some of the iconic ladies from the website and documentary were turned into a book. So fun.
  4. Mid-century Modern Mania. If you love interiors, you’ll love this!
  5. A Coloring Book from Andy Warhol’s drawings. I love his drawings.
  6. Blomster Mandala by Maria Trolle, my new favorite find. It’s a Swedish title, but you don’t need translation for coloring 🙂
  7. Alexander Girard Coloring Book
  8. Color your own Van Gogh.
  9. The Art of Nature Coloring Book
  10. Johanna Basford’s Secret Garden and her Enchanted Forest and Lost Ocean
  11. Jenean Morrison’s Flower Patterns volume 1 and volume 2
  12. A Happy Vista’s Color Land
  13. Secret Paris  and Secret New York (and Splendid Cities if you like architecture)
  14. Carl Larsson Coloring Book (one of my all time favorite illustrators!)
  15. Mary Engelbreit’s Color Me (another one of my childhood favorites!)
