The month of love deserves some special desktop wallpapers, right? Caitlin made some cute patterns based on our trip to Salvation Mountain last month. Download and put them up on your desktop to enjoy! There are 4 to choose from!
We are releasing our Valentine’s Day party next week. I can’t wait for you to see it. But I thought I’d give you another sneak peek of the cookies. We worked with Sweet Jenny Belle to produce the Heart, Hands, Eyes, and Lips and I love how they turned out!

I realize this Valentine’s Day balloon heart tutorial is coming so late in the love day game, but the idea just came to me recently (based on this balloon arch from last year) and I had to try and rush to put it out there just in case anyone needs a last minute backdrop for a party or Galentine’s Day or something. You never know! As you know, I’m super last minute in everything so perhaps there’s a kindred spirit out there? Yeah? I was thinking it could be fun as a backdrop or just a fun decor piece. And this one didn’t nearly take as long as the arch, nor did it cost as much. Bonus!
If you make this project, don’t forget to tag it with #larsmakes. I like to feature your work on my feed and on blog posts!
Ok, this heart collar pin I’ll be wearing not only during Valentine’s Day, but all year round. Is it not the cutest?! Ashley does it again! This one is super simple to make and as you can see, super adorable as worn by Carli above.
And I have to tell you, my skin has been the best it’s been in many many months. I hope it’s not just a trend but a long lasting solution. I’ll let you know how that goes.
Man, nails Brittany!
This is how easy it is! Lookie here! See the full tutorial below.
If you remember last year, we did a series of ways to wear pink for Valentine’s day. We’re continuing the tradition with another idea and today it’s a cupid’s arrow collar pin. I love how subtle yet clever this one is–not too obnoxious, though I’m not against being obnoxious for holidays. And if you want to see more ideas on how to get into the holiday spirit, try this or this or a whole archives of Valentine’s Day ideas!
