Guys! I’m so happy to introduce you to a brand new company called Modify Ink. I was introduced to them late last year and was super thrilled to partner with them on this baby shower I threw for my photographer and friend, Melissa Leavitt, who you know from all the fun styled shoots I’ve been doing recently. She just had her baby, Mabel Fawn, yesterday (!!!!!), and she’s the prettiest baby I’ve ever seen and so lucky to have the best mama in the world. Gah! Babies! Everyone’s having babies! Which means that I get to throw lots of showers!
You know how you’re planning a party or adding artwork to your home and you’re like, “hmmm, I’d buy it if it was a different color?” or “I wish that purple was a different color. It’s just throwing it off for me?” Enter Modify Ink! EVERYTHING is customizable so that you can change all the colors to what fits with the theme of your party or color of your home. They start off with suggestions, which I found to be really helpful and on point already, so that all you have to do is tweak it a bit to customize it. It’s absolutely perfect for parties because of the custom names and details you can add yourself and the colors of the decor.
The theme of our party was Flora and Fauna and the Garden Party suite was the perfect fit for it. I consulted with the mom-to-be on color preferences and adjusted a few things, but overall, the black botanical feel was a winner and we didn’t change too much.
After you customize it, they send you everything cut and ready to go for the party, which is AMAZING, especially if you’re short on time. There are so many elements you can order: banners, garlands, invitations, stickers, flags, gift tags, favor boxes. Man, I’m sounding like a hokey commercial, but honestly, I just think it’s going to change your life. Especially if you want a stellar looking party but don’t want to spend all the time in the world making it look good. It’s that good. And I’m a convert.
We used it to customize some drink labels and flags:
We all got together to paint the gift wrap and added in some Modify Ink gift tags:
We doused the table with gift boxes, name tags, and an array of paper plants that I made for the centerpieces, paper trees that Ashley made, and some fresh flowers from Amber Reverie.

Check out the party below and a tutorial on how to use their customizable features!
I’ll be showing you soon how to make these paper plants, but they’re a riff off of these ones that I did last month.
I’ll be showing you soon how to make the lemonades we did for it. SO good!
Now, for the brief overview of Modify Ink’s site. It’s super well done and easy to navigate so I won’t need to mention many details, you’ll get the hang of it.
They’re still developing their party lines (and stay tuned! We have something in the works ;), but I would use every single one of them for my parties at some point in my life.
As you can see, we went with the Garden Party theme.
You can click on any element of the design to change the color or to edit the text:
So, to show you the ease, here’s a quick change I made for a fake party for Lars:
And then you can do it to the rest of the party elements like the garlands:
You even have the option to add in patterns and textures:
Man, there’s so much to talk about with this. If you want to see more, watch this or this! But clearly, my enthusiasm is spilling over about it. Get on it for all your summer parties! AND, there’s so much more to this party that I’ll be sharing soon. Recipes, tutorials, round ups, playlists…gah! Stay tuned!
