If you haven’t noticed by now, we have a thing for crowns. A few of us in the studio have been watching The Crown on Netflix and aside from the fascinating life of Queen Elizabeth, the crowns are breathtaking! Yesterday, England celebrated the Sapphire Jubilee, which marks the milestone of Queen Elizabeth II becoming the first British Monarch to reign for 65 years. 65 years! CNN created a slideshow of pictures documenting her life and it is so fascinating! Have you noticed that she does not shy aways from color, even in her older years? That is my kind of woman! I am all about bright colors and crowns, so I think Queen Elizabeth II and I would get along quite well.
But, I diverge. There just seems to never not be an occasion for wearing a crown! Mind you, we’re talking paper crowns here, so it’s a bit more acceptable to the critical eye. This Valentine’s day we would strongly encourage you to channel your inner Queen Elizabeth and proudly dawn a crown of florals and swans. These Valentine’s Day printable crowns are just the thing to complete your red and pink ensemble!
Continue for the printable!
We made three different designs, each with a unique victorian inspired look. I’m a big fan of the swans but the floral and hand motifs are so lovely! All you need to do is download and print off the file (we recommend cardstock or other sturdy paper), cut carefully around the pattern, and glue the edges together. Voila! A crown fit for a Queen! And don’t forget the lipstick!
