You’ve been hearing a lot about Rebecca’s Scandinavian Meadow wedding lately and I hope you’ve been enjoying it as much as I have! There’s just something about weddings that gets me all giddy. As long as it’s not my own wedding, I’m all about it! Wedding planning can be quite stressful, and although Rebecca seems to be handling it rather well, we decided we all needed a little getaway. We wanted this to be a stress-free shower for the bride and also for those planning it.
Rebecca’s finance’s name starts with an ‘R’ as well. R&R! A little R&R is just what the doctor ordered: A Rest and Relaxation Bridal Shower Retreat. Yes, please! What better place to escape to than a beautiful resort and spa? We were lucky to spend the day at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City. We were pampered with manicures and pedicures and enjoyed delicious food in the most beautiful suite.
To make it even easier, we used the party products we designed for Alexis Maddox Design (out soon!) to bring the whole thing together. From the wrapping paper on the gifts to the pancake toppers to the boxed confetti favor for the guests. We covered it all! It created a beautiful cohesive look (perfect for a Scandinavian Meadow!) without any trouble at all! Beautiful location, relaxing activities, yummy food, and easy decor. In other words, the best bridal shower retreat ever.

Spa Time
We started the day by getting pampered. The Stein Eriksen has a wonderful spa and we got manicures, pedicures, and the world’s best foot massage. Honestly, I would pay money just for the massage. They host weddings at the Stein Eriksen Lodge as well, and this would be the perfect place to get the bridal party ready for the big day! They treated us to fresh fruit, tea sandwiches, and delicious scones. My mouth is watering just looking at the pictures.
Scandinavian Brunch
After the spa, we headed up to our suite which looked out onto the gorgeous snow covered mountains. Yes, it was snowing in April. It was my worst nightmare come true. Our Scandinavian Meadow had turned into a winter wonderland. Luckily, we had plenty of hot chocolate to keep us warm. The suite was so lovely and each room is so unique. Make sure to take a look at their stunning accommodations. Accompanying the hot chocolate and fresh whipped cream we had pomegranate pear pancakes and the avocado toast of your dreams. We topped everything with our flower party picks, wooden cake toppers, and used our swizzle sticks for the hot chocolate.
Presents
We finished with gifts and games. The presents were all wrapped with our Lars Floral wrapping paper and we made paper flowers inspired by the pattern for gift toppers. As Becca opened the presents, we collected the flowers and made a crown she could wear and keep as a memento. Every bride needs a crown!
My gift to Becca was by far the greatest: a water bottle with my face on it and a gentle reminder to drink up! Just what every bride needs 😉 On a more serious note, she also got the most beautiful blanket from Interwoven. A beautiful indigo color with giant poms, it makes the perfect throw blanket!
We scattered the whole suite with confetti and balloons, including our very own confetti balloons! They add such a festive touch to the whole party! We also gave each guest a box of confetti to use at their next party.
It was such a treat to get away from work and enjoy a little rest and relaxation as we celebrated Becca’s upcoming wedding. When it comes to planning a bridal shower, this is definitely the route to go! It takes away the stress of getting your house in order, preparing all the food, and making the decorations. We are all about crafting at Lars, but sometimes we all just need a little break! And trust us, no one will miss anything with all the pampering!
