Does anybody else get the Waitress soundtrack stuck in their head when they think about pie? Just me? In the movie, Jenna is always whipping up a delicious new concoction to sell at the diner she works at, like her Marshmallow Mermaid Pie. One of my favorite scenes is when she’s singing to her baby while she bakes: “Baby don’t you cry…Gonna make a pie with a heart in the middle.” Anyway, we’re prepping for a team pie party and already anticipating the leftovers, so we’ve decided to send everyone home with our Printable Summer Pie Boxes. I love holiday favorites like pumpkin and apple. During the warmer months, though, I can’t resist a good blueberry or rhubarb pie. We did a version of these pie boxes for Thanksgiving, but I think you’ll agree that summer pies deserve their own boxes! Individually wrapped with a lovely lemon motif, set them out as party favors or use them as take-home containers —that is if you have any leftovers at all!
