Every summer, Michael’s hosts its “Passport to Imagination” program – a 7-week arts & crafts series, where you can bring your family to their stores nationwide to participate in a 30-minute craft project. This year, each week’s activity is inspired by a popular family summer destination like the beach, the boardwalk, the lake, etc. Gymboree is Michael’s exclusive style partner, showing you how these popular summer activities are best styled with Gymboree clothing. They’re fun and light and perfect for summer. AND, they have loads of flower options…score!
I was so excited to create a project inspired by the County Fair and these adorable Gymboree flower dresses and I came up with these DIY giant flower pinwheels, which might be one of my favorite crafts I’ve ever made. They are SO fun to make AND to play with. Even for an adult like me!
Next week, every Michael’s store will be hosting their own craft projects inspired by the county fair. Find more information here. Michael’s summer crafting program is every Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 10am-noon from June 14th-July 31st at every Michael’s location across the US. And check out my Instagram for a fun giveaway!
