Remember the Ultimate Dorm Room Giveaway with Deny Designs? Well, the lucky winner was my new friend Laurie Batschi, a lovely and passionate sophomore majoring in international relations from Seattle currently attending BYU.
Deny Designs allows independent artists to submit their work and turn it into a fun array of home decor products like bedding, clocks, mirrors, jewelry cases, you name it! It was such a delight to meet Laurie and get to know her style and help pick out some rad items from Deny Designs for her new apartment that totally fit her personality. I LOVE how it all came together. Going through all the endless options of designs and products was great fun and allowed us to really get to know each other.

Laurie wanted to pay homage to her hometown of Seattle and she found a great print by Brian Buckley to hang above the bed.
I LOVED the idea of doing pattern on pattern so we went for the black and white polkda dot sheets that mesh well with the more colorful dahlia floral print duvet cover and pillow. In fact, I love it so much I’m considering doing it for my own bedroom!
One of my favorite products was the custom side table, in the Plus White design by Kal Barteski was a personal favorite and worked well with the other patterns she chose.
