While store-bought cards are easy and readily available, there’s something special about creating a personalized touch to express your feelings and style. Sure you can grab the ones at a big box chain, OR you can find one that will blow people’s minds (if we do say so ourselves). I’m gonna share our favorite printable Valentines cards to make this Valentine’s Day truly memorable and we have some new ones this year that are pretty dang cute!
It has always been a goal of ours to fill our blog and shop with unique pieces. Our Valentine’s Day shop is full of options from different designers and artists with styles ranging from bold and graphic, to delicate and flowery, to detailed and life-like. No matter the style though, we have lots of printable valentine options that will fit the bill.
This year we have some new ones that I think you’re really going to like. Our Valentine’s Day Shop has truly become a work of art, and it is now OPEN and accessible to you! Click here to see the valentines cards these amazing artists created to help you spread the love this year. And below you can learn more about all of the contributing artists!
How Printable Valentines Work
First, browse all of the new valentine options here and below. Each set was created by a unique artist, in their own fun style. There are valentines for your kids to gift to friends, plus plenty of grown-up options for you to gift to your partner, friends, neighbors, family members, the Amazon delivery man, anyone!
After you download the files you like, print however many you need to send them out to family and friends. You can save time and have your local print shop print and cut them. Or even if you end up waiting to the last minute to print them, you can use your home printer too. Our personal home printer favorite is the HP Envy. We use it for everything!
Some of these printable valentines cards, like these pizza valentines, allow you to attach little gifts as part of the card, like these punny options from Artist Amanda Jane Jones. Some take some minor assembly for the full (and adorable) effect, like these from Michele Brummer-Everett. However, if you don’t want to add any other steps to the assembly, there are plenty of options that you can simply print, cut, fold, and send!
Printable valentines and classic candies
New this year are some printable valentines that work perfectly with some classic candies. Pair them together for a thoughtful gift.
Strawberry candies
You know those iconic strawberry candies that come in the adorable wrappers? I had those in mind when designing these “ripe for the picking” valentines. You can get the download here and order the strawberry candies here. I put them in a 4×6″ cellophane bag and taped together.
Victorian Puzzle Purse Valentine
Our new Victorian puzzle purse valentine is a new favorite of ours. You can find the full tutorial over here and the printable here.
Chewing gum valentines
I came up with these chewing gum valentines after seeing how much it blew my son’s mind at the thought of getting SO much Hubba Bubba bubble gum in those fun circle containers. We added on some quote sayings to replace the branding of the chewing gum. You can either print onto sticker paper and put it on top of the existing sticker OR you can add double sided stick tape to paper OR you can do what I did and remove the original sticker and use the remaining stick to add on the new circle. Worked like a charm!
You can find the chewing gum valentine printable here and the chewing gum here! I’m going to buy this set for Jasper’s whole kindergarten class that come in different flavors.
Circus peanut Valentine
Have you ever seen these adorable circus peanut candies? They come in a fun palette of yellow, pink, white, and orange. I envisioned a little circus pack of peanuts as a super cute way to share the Valentine love. You cut around the shape of the printable (printable found here), use these circus peanut candies, these 3×5″ cellophane bags to put the candies in.
Sunshine on a cloudy day valentine
I love the idea of giving a “sunshine on a cloudy day” valentine. I used these 3×7″ cellophane bags filled with all sorts of yellow candies and this sunshine printable.
Rainbow valentine
Much like the sunshine valentine, this rainbow valentine is great for including rainbow candies. I found these rainbow gummies that are too cute and once again used the 3×7″ cellophane bags.
Lightning valentines
To complete our sunshine and rainbows, I wanted some lightning valentines. I found these little lightning stickers that are a great alternative to candy BUT I also found this lightning candy that would be so cute.
Browse through our entire collection and download as many designs as your heart desires.
