I put on my new spring dress as a sign to the weather system that it BETTER start improving starting now. Ha! I’ll let you know how it goes. Easter is coming super early this year, March 31st, so now is the time to get your decorating game on. As you know, I go hard for each holiday and Easter is no exception, but I find that I don’t have much to work with. I haven’t invested too much into it. Like Thanksgiving, it’s a big tabletop focused holiday with the dinner being the main event so the rest of the decor doesn’t always get thought of for me. That said, I adore all the bloom colors that take center stage–all those great pastels–that finally get their chance to shine. I rounded up some of my favorites so you can dive in and start making your Easter collection along with some tips to do it beautifully.

Tips for achieving a beautiful Easter decor scene
I shared some tips on Instagram stories the other day and it got me thinking why I love Easter decor so much. As you know I love spring and flowers so it’s only natural that Easter receives a huge portion of my love.
Using a pastel color palette
But let’s start with the color palette–those gorgeous pastels! There’s a lot of different ways to do pastels but the number one thing I keep in mind is to not only use pastels. I love bringing in deeper colors into the pastels so that it’s not too saccharine. There’s lots of ways to do bring in the deeper colors–through flowers, accessories, tablecloths. Just remember–not too sweet! Here’s an example of that!
Embrace Nature’s Bounty
As Easter coincides with the awakening of nature, incorporating natural elements into your decor is both fitting and beautiful. Fresh flowers, such as daffodils, tulips, and lilies, not only lend a fragrant aroma but also bring a burst of color to any room. Arrange them in vases or baskets and scatter them throughout your home for a touch of springtime splendor. Additionally, consider incorporating branches, moss, and even bird nests for an authentic woodland feel.
I’m reminded of the time a friend asked me for advice on decorating for a big Easter party. She asked what the cheapest way to do it would be–branches of blossoms! Go forage! Here’s a tabletop I styled where I did just that!
Adorable Bunny Accents
No Easter decor is complete without the ubiquitous bunny motif. Whether you opt for plush rabbits, ceramic figurines, or even bunny-shaped wreaths, these charming creatures add a playful touch to any space. Scatter them around your home or use them as centerpieces for your table settings to infuse your Easter celebration with undeniable cuteness. We have quite a number of bunny projects if you’re looking to make one!
Eggstravagant Displays
Eggs are an iconic symbol of Easter, representing new life and rebirth. Get creative with your egg displays by incorporating them into various aspects of your decor. From intricately painted egg ornaments to delicate egg garlands, there are countless ways to showcase these festive symbols. Consider hosting an egg decorating party as a fun activity for family and friends, allowing everyone to unleash their artistic talents and create personalized masterpieces. Here are some of my favorite egg projects!
Whimsical Wreaths and Garlands
Welcome guests to your home with a festive Easter wreath adorning your front door. Opt for designs featuring vibrant spring florals, colorful eggs, or playful bunny motifs to set the tone for your celebration. Inside, embellish mantels, staircases, and entryways with garlands adorned with seasonal accents, such as faux flowers, ribbons, and greenery, to create a cohesive and enchanting aesthetic. I’m what is known as a Wreath Girl. The one I featured above blew my mind so much–I’m waiting for it to come in the mail now! But here are some DIY Easter wreaths in case you’re looking for a project!
Elegant Tablescapes
Elevate your Easter brunch or dinner with a beautifully curated tablescape that showcases your attention to detail. Layer table linens in complementary colors and textures, then adorn the table with fresh flowers, tapered candles, and decorative centerpieces. Incorporate elements such as Easter-themed place cards, napkin rings, and chargers to add a personalized touch to each setting, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all. Here are some of my favorite Easter tablescapes!
