Fourth of July is fast approaching and I’m already thinking about how I’m going to celebrate. Holidays require looking your best, but I’ve never been one to go for the traditional flag t-shirt and denim shorts. This year I looked to Lady Liberty for some patriotic inspiration and came up with some red, white, and blueLady Liberty flower crowns! You can’t look your best without a crown, am I right? Ask any royal out there, and I can assure you they’d agree. With little more than fresh flowers, you can create a headpiece even Lady Liberty would be proud of!
Take a page from Lady Liberty’s book and make red, white, and blue Lady Liberty Flower crowns!
Lady Liberty Flower Crown: Blue
Blue flowers are few and far between, but we found some lovely blue delphiniums and cornflowers to use! Add some small white flowers for accents.
Lady Liberty Flower Crown: Red
Small red blossoms are another difficult find, so we used a small red berry for our red crown. We love the lushness of the green leaves.
Lady Liberty Flower Crown: White
The white crown might be my favorite! It’s just so happy and friendly! You could use any small white daisy or even chamomile blossoms!
We made these crowns using a tutorial from a few years ago, which you can find HERE.
