7. Flowers

We all know flowers are expected. But don’t try and order from someone fancy. There’s no time. Pick up some roses from the grocery store and put each one in a different vase.

8. Valentine’s Day dessert

I once had a friend tell me that instead of being disappointed in her expectations not being met for a birthday or other meaningful holiday, she made sure to tell her husband in advance what she wanted. I have a hard time doing this (because can’t they read our minds?!?!) but please pass this Valentine’s Day planner on to your significant other for some ideas.
