Ivy Globe Topiary DIY
Materials:
- globe form (try this one here)
- soil, pot
- two packs of ivy (with hopefully 5 or 7 strands total)
Step 1: Secure the topiary form into the pot and surround it with soil.
Step 2: Pot the two ivy packs on either side of the pot.
Step 3: Start by wrapping one strand of the ivy around the vertical post of the form and into the globe.
Step 4: Take the next strand from the same ivy and wrap it around the opposite way and into the globe.
Step 5: Repeat this process to the rest of the strands, but leaving one free.
Step 6: The last strand of ivy you will “repot” into the soil, which means that you will dip a section of the strand into the soil, cover it, and leave the rest out to grow and cover the base of the topiary. This repotted section will start growing roots and form a luscious base. How clever is that?!
Donzo. Simply water to avoid dryness.
