Introducing our new line of wrapping paper!

The House That Lars Built wrapping papers for Alexis Mattox Design

I’m tickled to announce our partnership with Alexis Mattox Design starting with a line of wrapping papers just in time for the holidays. Woot! Woot! I LOVE patterns, wrapping, and wrapping gifts so it was the perfect next step for our growing number of Lars products. We’ll have many more to reveal over the next few months!

I first met Alexis and her husband Paul when I first moved to Utah almost 4 years ago now. They were a newish design company that focused on laser cut stationery and paper wares (they’re cake toppers are adorable!) and have since blown up on the retail scene. You may not know the name, but you have very likely come across their products at Urban Outfitters, J.Crew, and BHLDN. They are everywhere! And we are thrilled to be joining them as they set out to conquer the party world. The House That Lars Built wrapping papers for Alexis Mattox Design

These first wrapping papers are based on our Wildflowers collection. I’m so thrilled to share them with you now!

The collection is inspired by the wildflowers I would spot as I would ride my bike through the Danish countrysides when we lived there when we first got married. We had to put it against our signature botanical black, of course. It’s become a signature. I think it would be lovely for a number of things including wall paper or other fun crafts. We’ll be sharing some fun things you can do with wrapping paper soon.

The flowers were nicely complemented by a fun marble. I’ve been loving on marbling for a number of years now and this is the first time I’ve taken action on it. I love the colors so much! The House That Lars Built wrapping papers for Alexis Mattox Design Two crazy patterns needed something mor subtle to offset them so we have a more neutral pattern of a simple seed pattern that will go with everything!

With the right colored ribbon you can give it a more Christmas vibe. I used a dark green ribbon to achieve this, but for the spring I’ll be switching it up with some fun pinks and yellows. Plus, there are some adorable floral trims that would be perfect as ribbons. The House That Lars Built wrapping papers for Alexis Mattox Design The House That Lars Built wrapping papers for Alexis Mattox Design The House That Lars Built wrapping papers for Alexis Mattox Design The House That Lars Built wrapping papers for Alexis Mattox Design The House That Lars Built wrapping papers for Alexis Mattox DesignThe House That Lars Built wrapping papers for Alexis Mattox Design
