Happy September, readers! This month’s club book is The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls, a New York Times Bestseller recently made into a movie starring Brie Larson, Woody Harrelson, and Naomi Watts. Jeanette Walls is currently a successful author and journalist, but her less-than-idyllic childhood was rootless and nomadic. This is a memoir about family, loyalty, redemption, poverty, and the trials of life. Walls has a frank, honest voice and way of writing that will keep you turning pages, wondering where their family ends up next! You’ll be chuckling and shaking your head at the same time.
