What started as a joke on Parks and Rec has turned into a real thing: Galentine’s Day! I think this year it hit the zeitgeist and I was spotting Galentine events left and right. Not one to sit out on the action, we celebrated with a craft workshop with our friends at Jane.com at their super amazing headquarters. I taught a bunch of rad ladies how to make our heart treat box (see full instructions and templates here) and it turned out to be the perfect way to celebrate ladies and friendship.

The heart craft was the perfect amount of time and level for our influencer friends, who mostly came from the lifestyle, beauty, and fashion world. A lot of women don’t craft so we had everything prepared in advance. We had cut out all the hearts and shapes on our Cricut beforehand and instead of DIYing poms and tassels, we used felt balls from Hello Maypole and bought some tassels online. (These ones if you’re curious!)
In true Galentine tradition, we ate waffles, care of Waffle Luv and mingled. Lolli and Pop provided beautiful and delicious treats.
We brought our own smorgasbord of goodies too to go inside the treat boxes.
Our craft intern, Kate, was on site to assist with the crafting, as was our photographer and studio manager, Jane.
