Valentine’s Day Printable Crowns

Valentine's Day Crown Printables

If you haven’t noticed by now, we have a thing for crowns. A few of us in the studio have been watching The Crown on Netflix and aside from the fascinating life of Queen Elizabeth, the crowns are breathtaking! Yesterday, England celebrated the Sapphire Jubilee, which marks the milestone of Queen Elizabeth II becoming the first British Monarch to reign for 65 years. 65 years! CNN created a slideshow of pictures documenting her life and it is so fascinating! Have you noticed that she does not shy aways from color, even in her older years? That is my kind of woman! I am all about bright colors and crowns, so I think Queen Elizabeth II and I would get along quite well.

But, I diverge. There just seems to never not be an occasion for wearing a crown! Mind you, we’re talking paper crowns here, so it’s a bit more acceptable to the critical eye. This Valentine’s day we would strongly encourage you to channel your inner Queen Elizabeth and proudly dawn a crown of florals and swans. These Valentine’s Day printable crowns are just the thing to complete your red and pink ensemble!

New Years Paper Crown

Printable New Year's Crown

New Year’s Eve is almost always portrayed with a huge party, kissing a stranger, and a carefree night on the town. We’ve all seen the movies right? Personally, I’d rather be eating a cheese plate, watching the ball drop in New York from the comfort of my living room, while dressed in my comfiest loungewear. But that’s just me. To each his own! However you wish to celebrate, we all deserve to look a little festive, even if that just means jazzing up the pajamas! We made a printable New Years Paper Crown that will look adorable with any getup, whether for a party downtown or a night in. We’re crazy about our New Years Crown for last year, but this one is equally sweet and much simpler if you’re suffering from a little post-Christmas exhaustion (Please tell me I’m not the only one!). Although I do think New Years Eve is a little overrated, I love thinking about the possibilities of the future and what the new year holds in store. This printable paper crown has a magical feel to it that makes me giddy for new and exciting things to come!

DIY Felt Holly Wreath

DIY felt and pom pom holly Christmas wreath

by contributor Kathleen Ballos of Snowdrop and Co

Browsing vintage items on Etsy is a never-ending source of inspiration for me. You really never know what you’re going to find! For today’s holiday project, I was inspired by this vintage brooch. I stumbled upon a few months ago. I love how festive it is – it actually reminded me of Brittany’s oversized berry and holly garland from a few years ago! The brooch already looks like a mini wreath, so I simply made red pom poms to be the berries and cut green felt into leaves and voila! A DIY felt holly wreath! I’m already thinking of making another one in muted colors, with some glitter applied onto the edges of the leaves. For now though, I’m excited to hang this wreath on my door to celebrate this Christmas season!
