Call for interns for winter 2017

Our town revolves around the academic calendar because we live in a big university town (two large universities!), which means that we do too! And we’re planning out winter/spring semester for 2017. Every semester we take on a few interns to help out around the office. The internship program has grown quite a lot since my studio days in Copenhagen and there are many opportunities to learn and take part in something a growing creative company. We have some exciting things planned in 2017 and we’d love to have you involved! 

The House That Lars Built is a creative studio and website. We make creative content for those seeking to make an artful life. We create daily blog content, content for other brands, products, a YouTube channel, and slew of other initiatives for 2017.

Duties of an intern may include: 

  • crafting
  • assisting on photoshoots
  • office work
  • prepping/organizing
  • shipping
  • running errands
  • writing
  • SEO and social media

In addition, this semester we are looking for a few skills in the following areas:

  • graphics
  • coding
  • Spanish-speaking
  • accounting
  • video/YouTube

Yes, we do internships for university credit. You will need to work with you university to get it approved.

You must be able to work a minimum of 8 hours per week, have a laptop and car, and work from our studio in Springville, Utah (though some duties may be done at home sometimes).
