Fall 2017 Intern and Photographer Call

Fall 2017 Intern

Can you believe we’re fast approaching fall and summer will quickly be coming to a close? As we begin to pack away our pool gear and see our gardens start to droop (tear), we’re also giddy about our upcoming fall projects and collaborations! And let me tell you, we are going to have a very busy and exciting fall this year! We need hard working, enthusiastic, and creative interns to join in on the fun!

The House That Lars Built is a creative studio and website. Lars makes creative original content for those seeking to make an artful life. Our goal is to help empower you to recognize and fill your life with beauty! We create daily blog content, content for other brands, products, a YouTube channel, and are constantly seeking new ways to create an artful living.

*Specifically, we are looking for a part-time photographer that can capture the bright, whimsical look of Lars. Someone who has an interest in product/still life/interiors and has a flexible schedule, can turn photos around quickly, and loves working with other people. If you or anyone you know might be interested, please contact us with your resume and portfolio.

We are looking for interns in the following categories:

  • Graphic Design (2)
  • Crafting (2-3)
  • Photography (1)
  • Social Media  (1)

Please view the intern descriptions here

Interns will specialize in their respective category but all are expected to participate in the following:

  • Assisting on photo shoots
  • Helping with the general maintenance of the studio
  • Running errands and complete shipping tasks
  • Writing and brainstorming activities

Internships can be used for university credit, you’ll just need to work with your university to get it approved.

You must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, have a laptop and car, and work from our studio in Springville, Utah (though some duties may be done at home sometimes).

Please email hello@thehousethatlarsbuilt.com with the subject line INTERN. Include your resume and portfolio (for relevant positions).
