These last few months have reminded me that time together with loved ones is the most valuable gift. This is a lesson I appreciate now more than ever. My heart goes out to George Floyd’s children this June, and there are countless more families who are without a father figure at this time. If you have a guy in your life who you admire as a father, let him know with a thoughtful Father’s Day gift.
While my heart aches as I remember the hardships just outside my door, I am glad to have a reason to celebrate. Father’s Day is the major holiday in June (other than my birthday, Flag Day, and Juneteenth) and many of us are either socially distanced away from our parents or are isolating with them which is bound to bring a little… chaos. Either way, a dad’s role is so important to a person’s life and we want to help you honor the father-figures in your life.
