Do you ever get an itch to rearrange the furniture? Or just decorate completely? I find myself getting bored really easily, so my home decor seems to be constantly changing. In this spirit, the other day I made a trip to Tuesday Morning and found just the items I needed to give my living room a little refresh. I have some underutilized areas that I felt could benefit from some sprucing up. A chair, a throw, a few pillows, some foliage and we’re in business! Tuesday Morning has an eclectic array of home decor items at amazing prices and you just never know what you’re going to find! It’s all about the serendipitous find! Each location has unique finds so make sure you check out your local store! Take a look at my favorite picks below!
Decorating a Forgotten Space
The area by the front door seems to be a forgotten space. It’s a small area that I’ve never been sure what to do with. Shoes, bags, and coats end up in a heap and it leaves me feeling so sad! I made the space by our wardrobe more usable with a chair, perfect for putting shoes on before I head out the door! Throws and decorative pillows are an easy and inexpensive way to mix up your home decor. I love this Moroccan-inspired tufted throw and textured pillow to add warmth and texture to the room.
Lately, I’ve been loving classic blue and white chinoiserie vases. They add beautiful color and Tuesday Morning offers tons of different variations.
Faux topiaries bring in an earthiness to the space, but have a polished feel. You also don’t have to worry about killing any houseplants, which is always a bonus in my book!
