Valentine’s Day Printable Crowns

Valentine's Day Crown Printables

If you haven’t noticed by now, we have a thing for crowns. A few of us in the studio have been watching The Crown on Netflix and aside from the fascinating life of Queen Elizabeth, the crowns are breathtaking! Yesterday, England celebrated the Sapphire Jubilee, which marks the milestone of Queen Elizabeth II becoming the first British Monarch to reign for 65 years. 65 years! CNN created a slideshow of pictures documenting her life and it is so fascinating! Have you noticed that she does not shy aways from color, even in her older years? That is my kind of woman! I am all about bright colors and crowns, so I think Queen Elizabeth II and I would get along quite well.

But, I diverge. There just seems to never not be an occasion for wearing a crown! Mind you, we’re talking paper crowns here, so it’s a bit more acceptable to the critical eye. This Valentine’s day we would strongly encourage you to channel your inner Queen Elizabeth and proudly dawn a crown of florals and swans. These Valentine’s Day printable crowns are just the thing to complete your red and pink ensemble!

Printable Valentine’s Day Candy Boxes

Dove Valentine's Day printable Chocolate Boxes

Do you remember in grade school when you would make Valentines for every student in your class? Sometimes there was a sweet treat attached to it. You’d even make a box to house all your lovely sentiments collected from the day. It was the best! Why does that tradition fade with age? I am a very big fan of friendly notes, and quite fond of sweet treats, yet well beyond grade school. So what’s the deal? We all deserve a little love, and nothing goes better with love than chocolate. So in an effort to bring back the tradition of Valentines for all, we created these sweet printable Valentine’s Day candy boxes, perfect to fill with a few DOVE® Chocolate PROMISES and pass out to all your friends! Remember to make one for yourself, you probably need a little reminder of how wonderful you are as well 🙂

Shrinky dink Valentine’s Day pins

Eyes lips heart shrinky dink pins

My illustrator friend, Michele, is one of the most clever people I know. For Christmas she gifted me a pin that she had created our of Shrinky Dink and I thought it was the most magical thing in the world. I had never even heard of it. And yes! I am a baby from the 80s! I don’t know where I was. I decided to catch up on lost time and make some Shrinky Dink Valentine’s Day pins for our Galentine’s Heart, Hand, Eyes, and Lips brunch, which we will be releasing on Wednesday. They are super easy to make and, being a kid’s toy, super fun too. All you do is draw it, place it in the oven, then it shrinks down to half it’s size. Glue a pin to the back and you’re set!

We mixed ours in with some gems that we backed with pins, as well as googly eyes.

3 Valentine’s Day pinata boxes

Valentine's Day pinata boxes red lips

It’s been awhile since my school days when everyone brings in a homemade box to store their valentines from class mates, but after our hair product pinatas for Rubi’s workshop, we wanted to pinata everything! Thus, Valentine boxes were in order. We made some red lips, a Love Bug with a trunk that opens, and a hot air balloon. Each one I’m trying to figure out how I can display on a permanent basis. They are too cute!
